Foundation

Friday, December 10 (GMT+2)

Before building a house we need to work on the foundation. Providing access to education and healthcare and equal access to nutritionally adequate food remains a high priority in the African continent. Already prevalent issues have been further escalated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With the youngest population in the world that continues to grow in a geographical region most affected by climate change, it is crucial to establish a solid and equal foundation before digitalization can take effect in its full glory.

How big of a role will technology play in providing equal access to basic needs?
